Sergio Canamasas will return to drive for Trident in Formula 2.
Canamasas had his GP2 début in 2012 at Lazarus, then raced for Trident in 2014, the team with which he took his best ever result of second place at Monaco. The Spaniard has also raced for Caterham, MP Motorsport, Hilmer and Carlin in his four and a half years in GP2.
Canamasas will turn 29 at the end of April. He will partner Nabil Jeffri at the Italian team.
