Sprint Race, Spain 2018
Round 3: who did and who did not live up to expectations?

Let’s have a look at how well each driver did in the previous round.

Top performers

George Russell

After P4 in qualifying, the Briton took the lead in the early stages on Saturday to take his second win. Showed save moves on Sunday to take 35 points away from Spain.

Jack Aitken

After a solid performance on Friday and Saturday, the Renault protégé took the lead at the start of the sprint race and showed pure dominance throughout the entire race.

Flop performers

Arjun Maini

Only qualified in 18th place, then crashed on Saturday due to his own fault. He only finished second to last in the sprint race – a dreadful weekend for the Indian.

Santino Ferrucci

Had an even worse round than his teammate: after being dead last in  qualifying, the American couldn’t even start the feature race and caused a collision with Merhi which ruined the Spainiard’s race.
