Marvin Kirchhofer will graduate to GP2 but will leave ART to move to Carlin.
“I can’t believe to be part of such an legendary and professional motorsport team,” said Kirchhofer. “All this feels like a dream I always had when I was a kid and looking up to these guys. Racing this beast [the Dallara GP2/11] will be a really big honor and I will enjoy and appreciate every second behind the wheel!”
The 21-year-old German won the Formel Masters and German F3 titles in 2012 and 2013, then moved to GP3 where he finished third in his first season. He finished third again this year behind team mate Esteban Ocon and Luca Ghiotto: the latter he will race against again, as he signed with Trident.
